the market

The fruit and vegetables market on "Graf Ignatiev" street offered strange fruits this Sunday morning.

Weihnachtsmarkt Sofia

Nice surprise for Sofia citizens - the "Weihnachtsmarkt", sponsored by the embassy  of  Germany and German companies, working in Bulgaria. It's no need to travel to Germany for "Würstchen", "Glühwein", German cookies and the typical Christmas decoration.
Situation - the little garden, between Sofia University, Parliament and Art Academy.

IKEA

Our first IKEA market, located on the Ring road.

Theme Day: Open Air Market

Watermelon season on "Goze Delchev" street.

Veliko Tarnovo 3

Another catch from "Samovodska charshia" - a tinsmith. It was about 35 degrees in shadow, I really don't know how this man could stand near to the fire and even work.

Veliko Tarnovo 2

Another picture from Veliko Tarnovo - "Samovodska Charshia" a craftsmen's market from the second half of the 19th century, now restored, a place with unique atmosphere.

angel

My last picture from the Christmas market - angel in the sky.

Granny's pumpkin

in between

Part of the “Soviet army” monument squeezed between the Christmas market tents.

"the women market" 2

"the women market"

You can find almost everything on this market, but obviously the little girls find the place rather boring.

super delicious tomatoes

It's written "super delicious tomatoes" and even it's truth! The street market on "Graf Ignatiev"

archimarket

Interesting idea for architectural exhibition - the Moskow section of the International Academy of Architecture is presenting in the Russian Cultural Center architects and their build and unbuild projects.

the roman wall

"The Roman Wall", in fact an early Ottoman wall in Lozenets, surrounded by a small market. Normally the wall "swims" in fruits and vegetables, only on sunday afternoon, when I took the photo the place looked so empty.

art for sale

In front of the "Al. Nevski" cathedral is an "art market". I'm not a special friend of this kind of open air art markets, but anyway it is an attraction for the tourists.

antiquary market

In front of the "Alexander Nevski" cathedral is an area where it suppose to be an antiquary and art market. Maybe the idea was not so bad, but now it looks more like flea market. I'm not sure if unique, interesting things could be find there, but anyway the place looks rather frowzy.
